A Case Study: Splento × SiGMA

When an event grows beyond a single city, a single continent, or a single format, the content challenge grows with it. Speakers need to be captured. Exhibition floors need to be documented. Award ceremonies, VIP activations, networking moments, and brand partnerships all generate content demands - simultaneously, across multiple zones, in real time.

For organisers running conferences at scale, the question is rarely whether you need professional visual content. It's whether your production partner can actually keep up.

The Client

SiGMA Group is one of the most ambitious global event organisations in the gaming and iGaming industry. Founded in 2014, it runs large-scale conferences across Europe, the Americas and Asia, bringing together operators, investors, affiliates, regulators and industry leaders across multiple days, multiple zones and multiple formats.

Each SiGMA event is a production in its own right: conference stages, exhibition halls, networking sessions, awards galas, VIP activations, and high-profile guest appearances — all happening in parallel, all generating content that needs to be edited, approved and live within hours.

The Challenge

As SiGMA expanded internationally, maintaining consistent, high-quality visual coverage across continents became operationally complex. Each location brought different venues, different teams, different schedules — and the same uncompromising requirement: content ready for social media, sponsors, press and future event promotion before the event had finished.

Traditional event photography arrangements — booking locally, briefing from scratch, hoping for consistency — weren't built for this model. SiGMA needed a partner that could deploy at scale, brief once, and deliver reliably, wherever in the world the next event landed.

The Solution

Splento operates as a continuous global content partner for SiGMA, deploying vetted photographers and videographers across every event in the series. Rather than treating each conference as a standalone booking, Splento maintains consistent briefing standards, editing workflows and delivery timelines across all locations — scaling up to nineteen photographers for a major multi-day conference, or deploying a single specialist for a targeted one-day activation.

Services delivered across the SiGMA series include event photography across all key zones, videography and highlight reels, speaker and panel coverage, exhibition and networking documentation, sponsor and brand activation coverage, and same-day editing for live publishing.

Single-Day Activations & Regional Presence

Not every event requires a large-scale deployment. Splento also supports SiGMA's broader calendar of single-day conferences, regional sessions and focused activations — applying the same briefing standards and production quality at any scale.

Armenia — May 2026
1 day · 1 photographer · Raw files delivered

Miami — May 2026
4 days · 1 photographer · Raw files delivered

Rome — April 2026
1 day · 1 photographer + 1 videographer · Raw photo files + 1 video edit delivered

Together, these activations demonstrate a production model that scales with the event — not one that requires a fixed overhead regardless of format.

Why It Matters

Gaming and iGaming conferences are no longer industry gatherings that end when the doors close. They are media platforms. Every panel, every handshake, every award handed over under stage lighting generates content that will be repurposed across social channels, sponsor deliverables, press coverage and next year's promotional materials.

The events that control that content pipeline — quickly, consistently, at quality — extend their commercial value well beyond the two or three days of the event itself.

That requires more than a photographer. It requires a production infrastructure that scales with the event.
